I clicked it. I clicked the “Add New Post” button for no apparent reason. I have another blog where I write my poems, thoughts, and whatever is on my mind. This is the link:

Well, I shall describe what I did recently.
On the 25th and 26th of September, I was away on a mission trip in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan to 4 Orang Asli villages. It was a great experience and a long BM lesson and practice. I had to speak in BM to the Orang Asli all the time because they did not understand English. At the villages, I saw stilt houses, chicken coops, and chickens. Not to mention the lizards crawling in the darkly lit wood houses (I can say my Mother wouldn’t last a few minutes there). The reason why I went to Jelebu in Negeri Sembilan and not other villages was because I was accompanying my Sunday Schoolmates, my 3 Christian School Of Ministry teachers, and Pastor David Lim, who was visiting 4 of the 14 churches he planted.
The Orang Aslis lived a simple life:
- Most kids went barefoot.
- Some men went shirtless in the fields and at home but not to church.
- 1 meal a day.
- No small morsels and tidbits.
- No candy.
- No brushing teeth.
- No need to study or “pergi sekolah.”
- No birth control. (There were more children than adults)
The Orang Aslis are friendly people. Just smile at them, talk with them, and they would be your newest friends. Unfortunately the life expectancy of their children is very low
, so I don’t know if I’ll see that cute, amusing little girl again (So I’ll pray for her).
If you go to an Orang Asli church service, the worship is awesome! Most villages don’t have musical instruments, but the way they worship is so powerful!
So if I go to the next Mission Trip, I shall bring outgrown shirts, shorts, shoes, dresses, and toys for them.
